Vision

The Geotechnical Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina supports further research, development and promotion of geotechnics as an area of science. The Geotechnical Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathers the mining, geology and civil engineers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. Their ideas and initiatives create the platform for further development of geotechnics in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our goal is to draw the attention of the geotechnical experts and develop the awareness of geotechnics significance. They will contribute to better living conditions in community thru their commitment and professional performance. As  young scientific discipline, geotechnics needs to respond to challenges such as urbanization, migration, technological development, climate change and uneven economic development.
